All Saint's Day in San Sebastian

A sleepy, little town under towering volcanic cliffs. All Saint's Day means all shops closed. At the marina we wake up at the fuel berth to the shrill, high decibel arrival of another Fred Olsen ferry. Luckily, it´s not long before we´'re alongside an English Hallberg-Rassey. A lonnng, new one, in pristine condition. But, soon, we get a new message. We have to move again. This time to our own cosy, as in tight, pontoon berth. All thanks to cheerful, helpful Isabel at the Marina office. She's the secretary, doubling as Marina Manager, while her boss is off on holiday, in their busiest weeks...

Boats come and boats go. We meet Norwegian "Fatuhiva" from Rosendal, as is Idun, just before they leave for Gran Canaria. Later Norwegian "Blue Marlin" comes in, inheriting our fuel-berth. "Lille Blå" (A white boat named Little Blue, from near Stavanger) comes and gets a pontoon berth right away. On board they have a 14 year old girl. Except she didn´t sail with her parents today.

Choosing instead to join 16 year old Sondre on "Blue Marlin". Strange.
